You need your site on high quality directories, like DMOZ. Many directory submission offers just send your site off to automated link farms, which could damage your ranking big time. Ask for a list of which directories they submit to, and only go for offers that include high quality directories that will help your ranking.
The legit best money systems will never include any of those services, nor will they include any 'black hat' strategies that can end up getting your site banned. So when you are taking a look at different programs and offers, make sure you actually read what is being offered, and how they make good on their offer. If it sounds too good to be true, or a little bit sketchy, then you are better off staying far, far away.
